Are Salty Nose dog toys safe for all ages, from puppies to seniors?
Yes. All Salty Nose pet toys are rigorously tested by CTI and fully compliant with EU EN71-3:2019 + A2:2024 (European Toy Safety Standard), including phthalate safety requirements. Independent lab results confirm they are free from harmful substances such as aluminum, antimony, arsenic, barium, boron, cadmium, chromium (III & VI), cobalt, copper, lead, manganese, mercury, nickel, selenium, strontium, tin (including organic tin), and zinc.
Can I put Salty Nose Plush Toys in the washing machine?
Yes, they can be machine washed on cold, without detergent. Tumble dry on low or air dry. However, for our Crinkly collection, we recommend only hand wash or spot clean with a damp towel.
Are Salty Nose dog toys suitable for heavy chewers?
Most likely, no. Our toys are made with a variety of materials including polyester, latex, cotton and jute. They are made with added strength, however, no dog toy is indestructible. We recommend them for light to moderate chewers.
