Where are Salty Nose toys made?
Salty Nose toys are made in China. Each toy is tested to the EN71-3 standard — the gold standard of global toy safety. This ensures not only uncompromising safety, but also the premium quality your pet deserves.
Are Salty Nose dog toys safe for all ages, from puppies to seniors?
Yes. All Salty Nose pet toys are rigorously tested by CTI and fully compliant with EU EN71-3:2019 + A2:2024 (European Toy Safety Standard), including phthalate safety requirements. Independent lab results confirm they are free from harmful substances such as aluminum, antimony, arsenic, barium, boron, cadmium, chromium (III & VI), cobalt, copper, lead, manganese, mercury, nickel, selenium, strontium, tin (including organic tin), and zinc.
Are dog toys safe for humans?
Our toys are crafted from safe, chemical-free materials, so they are harmless to handle. However, they are designed for dogs and not as toys for humans.
Are dog toys without stuffing or squeakers safer?
Generally speaking, toys without stuffing, or with minimal squeakers, reduce the risk of accidental ingestion. Choose our crinkly, no-fill toys (LULL, TRAY) or bouncy latex toys if you have concerns. Adult supervision is always recommended though :)
Can I put Salty Nose Plush Toys in the washing machine?
Yes, they can be machine washed on cold, without detergent. Tumble dry on low or air dry. However, for our Crinkly collection, we recommend only hand wash or spot clean with a damp towel.
How to disinfect dog toys?
Use a mild pet-safe disinfectant or warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow toys to fully dry before returning them to your dog.
Are Salty Nose dog toys suitable for heavy chewers?
Most likely, no. Our toys are made with a variety of materials including polyester, latex, cotton and jute. They are made with added strength, however, no dog toy is indestructible. In most situations, we'd recommend them for light to moderate chewers.
Which dog toys keep dogs busy?
Our interactive, squeaky, and bouncy toys provide mental stimulation, reduce boredom, and keep dogs entertained.
Will the toy object be too small/big for my dog?
It depends on your dog's preference. Most of our toys are suitable for small to medium sizes. You can find the measurements of the product on the product page.
Can dog toys be donated?
Yes! Clean, gently-used dog toys can be donated to animal shelters or rescue organizations. Check local donation guidelines.
Can I use multiple discount codes?
Unfortunately, only one discount code can be applied at a time. For example, if there is a Black Friday sale going on, no other discount codes can be applied on top of the existing sale promotion.
